Russian President Vladimir Putin holds a press conference following his visit to China. Izvestia is broadcasting on Tuesday, September 2.

Putin is in China on a four-day visit. Earlier on Tuesday, the leaders of Russia, China and Mongolia had a conversation in Beijing.

Following the talks, Putin and Xi Jinping signed more than 20 documents on bilateral cooperation between Russia and China. The Russian President also stressed that Moscow is ready to maintain strategic cooperation with Beijing and strengthen high-level contacts.

Before his trip to the Chinese capital, Vladimir Putin took part in the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) in Tianjin. There, the head of state addressed a meeting in the SCO Plus format and held a series of bilateral talks.
