The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are improving their positions in the Dnipropetrovsk region after the liberation of the southern part of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on September 2 by the head of the DPR Denis Pushilin.

According to him, the entire south of the republic was liberated after the Russian Armed Forces took control of the village of Kamyshevakha.

"I would like to express my gratitude to the soldiers of the Vostok group of forces, who completed the liberation and are now improving their positions in the Dnipropetrovsk region," he said on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.
