The Russian technology company Navio (formerly SberAutoTech) has introduced a software platform for interacting with the PlayAuto car. It can be integrated into the multimedia system of cars both in production and on the basis of a dealer network. This is stated in the company's message, which was received by Izvestia on September 2.

In fact, PlayAuto is an analogue of the popular Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which are widely used in modern cars. The system has built-in infotainment services, maps and navigation, online radio, a virtual assistant and a service for remote payment for refueling a car at a gas station. A virtual assistant based on GigaChat from Sberbank is also provided.

Depending on the hardware platform and capabilities of the car's head unit, three software solutions are provided: projection (connecting to the head unit using a smartphone app); embedded as an application in the car's source multimedia system; and a full—fledged digital system with the integration of the PlayAuto platform for the OEM manufacturer.

The PlayAuto interface can be adapted to the brand identity, and users will have access to various ways to customize the widget display format, the company noted.

On June 18, AvtoVAZ announced at the presentation of the new Lada Azimut crossover that the model will be equipped with a software platform from Navio.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
