The Ministry of Defense showed footage of the destruction of equipment and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in its zone

The operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces destroyed roaming mortar crews, Western-made armored combat vehicles and manpower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of the special military operation (SVO) during combat missions. This was announced on September 2 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

It will be clarified that the servicemen of the 375th separate anti-tank artillery division of the 47th Tank Division, in addition to ground equipment and manpower, also destroyed a number of heavy enemy quadrocopters. In total, the unit's fighters shot down more than 200 enemy UAVs.

"The fighters are equipped with the most modern drones. They go out on combat missions every day. Kamikaze drone operators inspect the line of contact and destroy targets when enemy forces are detected. The units operate both day and night. The drones are equipped with special cameras for working in the dark," the ministry said in details.

It is noted that UAVs are equipped with different ammunition, the type of which depends on the purpose of the combat mission. For example, it can be grenades or shots from grenade launchers.

The defeat of these targets was recorded by means of objective monitoring in real time.

On the same day, calculations of the Lancet barrage ammunition of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. A direct hit on the targets and their subsequent destruction was recorded by a video camera on board the drone.
