The families of the defendants in the case of the terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert Hall have distanced themselves from the defendants and are avoiding contact with them.

"Apparently, the relatives of the defendants perfectly understand the situation and are not eager to communicate," the source told RIA Novosti on September 2.

According to him, during the entire consideration of the case, only one lawyer filed a petition for permission to call the elderly parents of one of the accused from Ingushetia.

Earlier, on August 9, the lawyer of 132 victims, Ksenia Trunova, informed Izvestia about the petition of the defendants in the case of the terrorist attack in Krokus to release them from jail. She clarified that the accused sit in a cage, face down, and react indifferently to court decisions.
