This week, the US authorities will study possible options for action against the Russian Federation due to the situation around the conflict in Ukraine. This was announced on September 1 by the American Minister of Finance Scott Bessent.

Earlier in the day, Trump's economic adviser Peter Navarro was outraged by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's cooperation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Navarro added that while Indian elites benefit from cooperation with Russia, ordinary citizens are allegedly forced to face economic problems because of this.
