The Deputy Minister of Defense announced the elimination of 4,000 Rubicon communications facilities in a year

Units of the Rubicon Advanced Unmanned Technology Testing Center in the area of a special military operation destroyed 4,000 communications facilities and suppressed over 44,000 drones during the year. This was announced on September 1 by Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko during a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"In just a year, the Center destroyed more than 5,000 different weapons and military equipment of the enemy. In addition, over 3.7 thousand off-road vehicles used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces of Ukraine. — Ed.) for the transportation of personnel and military cargo, 4,000 communications equipment, electronic warfare, radar and 13,500 military infrastructure facilities," he was quoted as saying in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Defense.

As noted by Krivoruchko, at the moment the center, together with the national military industrial Complex, is developing new products and upgrading existing weapons. In addition, the equipment is being tested, tested in combat conditions and introduced into the army.

Krivoruchko also reported on the development of a mechanism for the accelerated development and equipping of units with weapons with new combat capabilities. According to him, they are created by civilian enterprises of various levels, inventors of technology. The key element of this mechanism is the Military Technology Initiative project implemented by the units of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

Earlier in the day, the Russian Defense Ministry said that the calculation of the 2A65 Msta-B cannon of the 1st howitzer artillery battalion of the 72nd separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Southern Group of Forces hit the enemy's UAV control point in the Konstantinovsky direction in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). It was clarified that the military, having received the coordinates of the target, prepared the gun for battle and successfully destroyed the drone control center, as well as the antennas and the take-off site, along with the enemy's manpower, with two accurate shots.
