Chinese business is interested in cooperation with a Russian media holding
The possibilities of cooperation between Gazprom-Media Holding (GPMH) and Chinese businessmen became the main topic of the meeting between Boris Khanchalyan, Deputy General Director of the Holding, and Zhou Lijun, Chairman of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia. The event took place in Beijing as part of the working visit of the Gazprom Media Holding delegation.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the vectors of future cooperation. Thus, Boris Khanchalyan named promotion through the blogosphere and influencers in the Russian advertising market among the promising areas of cooperation.
"For Gazprom Media Holding, building strong partnerships with Chinese colleagues is a strategic step towards strengthening its leadership position in the global media market. We see potential in comprehensive joint projects aimed at developing the media, creative industries and economies of our countries. In particular, from our side we can strengthen the media presence of Chinese company brands in the Russian market," he said.
Zhou Liqiong, for his part, stressed that the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs in Russia can significantly help in business exchange.
As noted in GPMH, the meeting was the first step in establishing a dialogue between the holding and the largest association of Chinese businesses in the Russian Federation, which has about 4 thousand companies. The next step may be a meeting in Moscow, where Gazprom-Media Holding will present its capabilities to the member companies of the Union of Chinese Entrepreneurs.
