A special version of the Jaecoo J7 crossover appeared in Russia

Sales of a special version of the Jaecoo J7 crossover in a new Limited Edition special version have started in Russia. The model is available in two trim levels, priced from 2.56 million and 2.86 million rubles, including shares, the company said in a statement received by Izvestia on September 1.

The special version of the Jaecoo J7 features a redesigned exterior. The crossover received a narrow trapezoidal grille and a letter logo on the hood, redesigned bumpers, and dark-colored pointed side mirrors. Hidden exhaust pipes appeared at the back.

Another feature is the model's new 1.5-liter turbo engine with 147 hp, which works with a robotic transmission (front-wheel drive only). The regular J7 is sold only with a 1.6-liter turbo engine (150 or 186 hp) and is also available with all-wheel drive.

As standard, the car is equipped with 18-inch wheels, fully LED optics, a rear-view camera and parking sensors, a full winter package, and a 13.2-inch central multimedia screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. The more expensive version has a panoramic roof, front parking sensors, an all-round viewing system, dual-zone climate control, ventilation of the front seats, wireless charging for a smartphone, and an extended package of driving assistants.

Earlier, on August 29, BAIC announced that the BAIC BJ60 frame SUV will cost 5.3 million rubles in Russia. Despite the fact that the production of cars was launched more than six months ago, the timing of the start of sales is still not disclosed.

On August 28, Exeed announced the appearance on the Russian market of the third model in the Exlantix line after the hybrid crossover ET and sedan ES. The flagship Exlantix E02 SUV will make its debut in Russia in 2026.
