New rules for car service stations in Russia have entered into force
New rules for the provision of car maintenance and repair services came into force in Russia on September 1. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the Union of Car Services, which listed the main innovations.
So, permission is prescribed for electronic orders-orders and acts, recording the client's consent through the website, application or electronic signature. Online informing of the client about prices, warranty conditions, etc. must be mandatory. The book of reviews in paper form has been canceled, and electronic feedback channels have been installed instead.
The new version of the document has added an emphasis on traceability of origin (certificates, protection against counterfeiting). The client can choose the details himself, but must sign a written consent. Previously, there was no separate focus on ecology and safety, now it is mandatory to dispose of oils, filters, waste, and compliance with economic standards.
The repair organization details the stages of maintenance, the procedure for fixing and approving additional work. Previously, a minimum set of procedures (reception, registration, and delivery) was regulated. As for the warranty, its deadlines for different categories of work and parts are clearly established, the procedure for dispute resolution and return of defective parts is described.
The list of requirements for performers (availability of a production base, equipment, qualified personnel) includes requirements for digital equipment (diagnostic software, electronic accounting systems), compliance with labor protection and environmental standards. Mobile services are allowed to operate (on-site repairs).
Earlier, on August 14, it was reported that owners of Lada Vesta, Volkswagen Polo and Hyundai Solaris began to apply for repairs 13% more often than in 2024. The cost of maintenance work has also increased.
Alexey Tikhomirov, General Director of Lada-Image JSC, told Izvestia on August 5 that counterfeit auto parts pose a serious threat to the safety of drivers and passengers. They can also lead to the failure of warranty repairs and legal consequences.
All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
