A TV channel in the DPRK showed a film about the exploits of soldiers of the Korean People's Army (KPA) in the Kursk region. This was reported on September 1 by the Yonhap news agency.

"North Korea Central Television <...> on Sunday (August 31. In the evening, a documentary was shown, which showed footage of fighting involving North Korean soldiers who participated in the Russian-Ukrainian <conflict>," the article says.

According to the agency, the film tells about the exploits of the DPRK fighters on the battlefield.

It is clarified that the President of the DPRK, Kim Jong-un, sent letters of consolation and encouragement to the military several times. In one of the letters, he promised to pray for the souls of the fallen soldiers, and in another he urged the soldiers to take care of themselves.

On April 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked the Korean People's Army special forces soldiers who took part in the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) group in the Kursk region. At the same time, the Central Telegraphic Agency of the DPRK reported that special forces from the republic were sent to participate in hostilities in the Russian Federation by decision of the country's chairman Kim Jong-un. According to the agency, the Korean side will continue to support the "sacred cause of the Russian army and people."

On April 30, the head of the KDNR military delegation, Lieutenant General Pak Yong Il, said that the liberation of the Kursk region from the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was a victory over pure evil. According to him, this event is a new stage in history, which demonstrated the strong cooperation between the Russian Federation and the DPRK.
