Peskov denied Russia's involvement in the von der Leyen plane landing failure
Russia was not involved in the technical malfunction that occurred when the plane landed with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen on board. This was announced on September 1 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.
Earlier in the day, the Financial Times (FT) newspaper reported that an alleged Russian interference attack had disabled GPS navigation services at a Bulgarian airport and forced a European Commission plane to land using paper maps.
"Your information is incorrect," Peskov told the newspaper.
