An eco-quarter will be built in Kaliningrad as part of the CRT
An eco-quarter with an area of more than 200 thousand square meters will be built in the Leningrad region of Kaliningrad as part of the integrated development of the territory. This was reported to Izvestia by the developer Russian Europe.
The first stage of the project has already been commissioned, the second is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026. The project provides for the construction of residential quarters, income apartments, a comprehensive school for 1,150 children, a kindergarten for 350 children and a children's clinic, as well as underground parking with access to a football field, a tennis court, playgrounds for children, and public areas.
"Important social facilities are located on the territory of the microdistrict. A school, a kindergarten, a children's clinic that have already been commissioned and are in operation, and all the necessary leisure activities — restaurants, cafes, sports clubs, schools for child development, shops, beauty salons and much more," said Viktor Ivanyuk, project manager.
In August, it was reported that the cost of housing construction in St. Petersburg continues to grow faster than inflation, and in 2025, according to experts, it will increase by 8-10%. In the first half of the year, construction prices rose by 4%, and the trend will continue in the second half of the year. For comparison, in 2024, the cost of housing increased by 9.4%, which was also ahead of inflation.
