The festival "Gorbunova's DC – Legend of Russian Rock" was held in Moscow for the third time

The grandiose rock festival "Gorbunova's House of Culture - Legend of Russian Rock" took place in Moscow for the third time. Maxim Prikhodov, a correspondent for Izvestia, told about how it went on September 1.

On the Gorbushka stage, songs were played not only by the most famous bands, but also by aspiring artists. The event lasted two days and was attended by thousands of people.

34 musical groups performed at the venue. The audience was dressed in a rocker style: leather, rivets, bright hairstyles. And some of them don't look like they came to a rock festival.

"There's a drive here that I usually really miss," said Archpriest Jacob, who also attended the rock concert.

Whole generations of artists came out of the Gorbushka hall into the big musical world. Everyone has personal memories associated with it.

"You realize that you are on the same platform that you entered many years ago, almost 40 years ago, as a completely green kid," said Alexander F. Sklyar, the leader of the Va-Bank group, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Singer Elena Jaya presented new music at the festival.

"These are songs that were born in the process of preparing for the festival. I'm sure they should have been presented here," the singer said.

During the performance of the Kipelov group, all 12 thousand festival-goers sang in chorus.

"As always, our fans in Moscow are amazing. We are very grateful to them that on this wonderful warm summer evening they decided to share this holiday with us. Thanks to the "Legends of Russian Rock", thanks to REN TV," said the band's lead singer Valery Kipelov.

The festival "Gorbunova's DK — Legend of Russian Rock" started on August 30. The rock marathon was held simultaneously on three stages. In the morning, hundreds of heavy music fans from different cities of Russia came to the S.P. Gorbunov House of Culture: St. Petersburg, Tolyatti, Nizhnevartovsk, Kemerovo, Volgograd and others.
