Forecasters predicted a gradual cessation of rains in Primorye
In Primorsky Krai, on Monday, September 1, a gradual stabilization of the weather will begin. Atmospheric fronts will leave the region, precipitation will come to naught.
During the daytime, the temperature in the region will rise to +27 degrees. It will warm up to +26 in Vladivostok.
Due to the influence of the area of high atmospheric pressure, rains are unlikely in almost the entire territory of the region. Short-term precipitation is possible only in the north of the region. This is due to the action of the fronts of the Khabarovsk cyclone, writes IA AmurMedia.
On September 2, a high-altitude hollow will begin to pass through Primorye. It may rain in places of varying intensity, from light to heavy. Compared to the previous day, it will become warmer by 1-3 degrees.
Meanwhile, the hydrological situation in the region remains tense. Due to heavy rainfall, water levels in the rivers rose. Flooding of floodplain areas was recorded in the Dalnerechensk and Krasnoarmeysky districts. In other places, water levels are 0.6–1.5 m below floodplain outlet levels. Additional water rises are not excluded on Tuesday due to rains and slope runoff. This can lead to local flooding of lowlands and road sections.
A high-alert regime due to rains was introduced in Vladivostok on August 25. City services have switched to an enhanced mode of operation. On August 29, it was decided to extend it.
