Composer Zhanna Kolodub has died in Ukraine.

Composer, People's Artist of Ukraine Zhanna Kolodub died at the age of 96. This was announced by the National Tchaikovsky Music Academy of Ukraine.

"It is with deep sadness that we inform you that at the age of 96, an outstanding Ukrainian composer, professor, People's Artist of Ukraine, winner of numerous state and art awards, Zhanna Yefimovna Kolodub, passed away," the institution said in a Facebook post (owned by Meta, whose activities are recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation)..
