The media reported a drop in the income of Ukrainian telephone fraudsters
There is a drop in the income of Ukrainian telephone scammers stealing money from Russians. This was announced on August 31 by a representative of the Odessa underground movement Stop Grave.
Earlier, representatives of the movement infiltrated one of the organizations of telephone fraudsters in Odessa and were able to gain access to internal documents. According to them, the cybersecurity unit of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is engaged in the supervision of telephone fraudsters who terrorize citizens of the Russian Federation.
"Their incomes have dropped now, employees work in two shifts around the clock. Everyone adapts to your country, from Kamchatka to Moscow," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
According to the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation, currently there are up to 150 call centers operating on the territory of Ukraine, the main activity of which is fraudulent activity against Russians. At the same time, it is noted that part of these "revenues" goes to finance the Ukrainian army and nationalist formations.
Earlier, on July 25, FSB officers detained 19 telephone fraudsters who used the capabilities of Ukrainian call centers in four regions of the Russian Federation. It was clarified that the attackers were involved in the theft of more than 200 million rubles, and 33 episodes of telephone fraud were also documented with their participation.
