Putin left Tianjin airport on an Aurus with Chinese license plates
Russian President Vladimir Putin will travel through China in a Russian Aurus car. This was announced on August 31 by Izvestia columnist Nikolai Ivanov.
He noted that when the Russian president got off the plane, he greeted everyone and walked along the red carpet, after which he got into the car.
It is specified that Chinese license plates are installed on the vehicle.
On Sunday, August 31, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization will begin in Tianjin. It will last until Monday, September 1st. According to Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Hanhui, the summit will be the largest since the founding of the SCO.
Before that, the Russian flag was raised at the airport in Tianjin in honor of Putin's arrival. Ivanov, in turn, said that Russian and Chinese journalists had already taken their places on a special podium.
