The Ukrainian wing of the American far-right group The Base White Phoenix ("White Phoenix") has announced its involvement in the murder of former Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy. The message appeared on the group's Telegram channel on August 30.

"We, the White Phoenix organization, declare our support in eliminating the traitor and desecrator of the Ukrainian nation and the white race, Andrei Parubiy," it says.
