The Russian army is successfully fulfilling the tasks of creating a security zone along the border of the Russian Federation in Sumy and Kharkiv regions. This was announced on August 30 by the Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army, Valery Gerasimov, summing up the results of the spring-summer campaign of 2025.

"The tasks of creating a security zone along our border in Sumy and Kharkiv regions are being successfully completed," Gerasimov said.
