Two people were killed and six injured in an accident in the Republic of Tyva.

As a result of an accident on the 840th km of the federal highway R-257 in the Republic of Tyva, two people were killed and six others were injured. This was announced on August 30 in the press service of the main directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"There was a head—on collision of two passenger cars," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that one minor was among the victims.
