Russia and the People's Republic of China (PRC) advocate reforms of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank. This was announced on August 30 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the Chinese Xinhua news agency.

"Together with our Chinese friends, we advocate the reform of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank," Putin is quoted as saying on the Kremlin's website.
