A number of Western states are engaged in reviewing the results of the Second World War and falsifying historical truth. This was stated on August 29 by Russian President Vladimir Putin in a written interview for the Xinhua news agency.
"We see that in a number of Western countries there is actually a review of the results of the Second World War, the verdicts of the Nuremberg and Tokyo tribunals are openly ignored. <...> The historical truth is being falsified and suppressed in favor of political conjuncture," says the text of the interview, which was published on the Kremlin's website.
