Alexander Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, ordered a criminal case to be opened after threats against activists of the "Russian Community" in Pyt-Yakh, Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug (KhMAO). This was reported on August 29 in the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.

"Alexander Ivanovich Bastrykin, Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, instructed the head of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug-Yugra <...> to initiate a criminal case on this fact and submit a report on the preliminary results of the investigation," the Telegram channel said.
