In Tyumen, they decided to radically redesign the skating rink in the shape of a heart, which became the object of criticism last winter. It will change its shape to a rectangular one, said project manager Alexander Androsov.

"The fact is that winter slides rest on the shape of a heart, and their transfer is a very expensive pleasure, each slide requires approval, documents and checks," said the specialist, quoted by the news agency " <url>".

The heart will be left only as a glowing object so that it can be seen from an airplane. According to Androsov, the shape change is not related to the height, but to the requests of the skaters and the need to increase the area of the rink.

Work on the skating rink "Heart of Tyumen" has been underway for about two weeks. The presentation of the updated location is scheduled for September. A special skating track will be built next winter.

Earlier it was reported that Tyumen decided to move the existing bus station on Permyakova Street to another area. This is provided for by the territorial planning scheme of the region.
