The contract recruitment plan for 2025 has been increased, and its indicators are generally being met. This is stated in an excerpt from the theses of the speech of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Andrei Belousov at a meeting of the board of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

"The key issue for ensuring the conduct of offensive operations remains the recruitment of troops. Work in this area is progressing successfully. This year, we have increased the recruitment plan for military service under the contract. The indicators of the recruitment plan are generally being fulfilled," the minister said.
