In the Perm Region, the duration of the meteorological summer ranged from 82 to 93 days. The shortest summer season was observed in the Gaynsky municipal district, the press service of the regional CGMS reports.
In the north of the region, summer ended on August 22-23, one week later than the standard deadline. In the rest of the territory, the end of summer fell on August 27. This is 7-13 days later than usual.
According to the <url> news agency, the exception was the city of Tchaikovsky, where the dates of the beginning and end of the summer season almost coincided with the long-term values.
According to forecasters, July overshadowed the overall picture of summer. This month, the average temperature was below the climatic norm, and on July 19, a new absolute minimum temperature was recorded for that day.
