The participation of US President Donald Trump in the parade to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the victory over Japan and the end of World War II, which will be held on September 3 in China, and the subsequent dinner is not planned. This was announced on August 29 by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, answering a question about the possibility of a meeting in China between Trump and Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

"You know, as for Trump, I have listed those who will participate. I did not name everyone who will participate in the parade and dinner on September 3, but Mr. Trump is not among them," Ushakov said.

According to him, Azerbaijani President Ilhan Aliyev, in turn, will take part in the above-mentioned events, but there is no information about his possible meeting with Putin yet.

"We did not agree on it [the meeting]. But again, the leaders will be at the same table, at the same events. As they say, anything is possible if there is a desire for it, if there is a desire," the Russian presidential aide added.

Ushakov stressed that within the framework of Putin's official visit, a large number of bilateral meetings are planned, including with leaders of several countries, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and others.

Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay a four—day visit to China from August 31 to September 3. Large-scale negotiations are planned between the delegations of the two countries.

The meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin took place in Anchorage, Alaska, on August 15. Following the talks, Putin noted that Trump is seeking to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. He stressed that Russia is also interested in ending the conflict. Trump, in turn, shared that the negotiations went very well and called the summit in Alaska wonderful.
