A diesel locomotive hit a man on the railway in Khabarovsk

Investigators are conducting a check on the fact of a diesel locomotive hitting a pedestrian in Khabarovsk. The victim was hospitalized.

The incident occurred on August 28 between tracks 1 and 2 of the Khabarovsk-1 and Khabarovsk-2 stations. The man was crossing the railway at a forbidding traffic light when a diesel locomotive ran over him. The victim was taken to a medical facility, IA AmurMedia writes.

The Investigative Department for Transport conducts a check on the signs of a crime under Part 1 of Article 261 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of the rules of traffic safety and operation of railway transport").

In the Amur region, a scooter driver was killed in a collision with a moving train. The victim tried to cross the railway tracks.
