VTB supported the construction of a large warehouse complex in Irkutsk

VTB has provided bank guarantees for 1.8 billion rubles to the Free Technologies Group of companies for the implementation of a contract for the construction of a multi-temperature warehouse complex in the Irkutsk region, the bank's press service reported.

"For VTB, participation in such projects is a priority. The development of the urban economy infrastructure through the expansion of warehouse and logistics capacities will increase the range and availability of mass-consumption products. Eventually, residents of Siberia and Transbaikalia will receive fresher, higher—quality and more favorable food prices," commented Ruslan Eremenko, a member of the VTB Board.

The construction of the complex with an area of more than 47 thousand square meters, according to plans, will be completed in 2027. The customer is X5 grocery retail company. The new warehouse complex will allow the retailer to expand the geography of supplies, ensuring compliance with the requirements for food storage and logistics, as well as to the zoning of warehouse spaces with different temperature characteristics.
