US President Donald Trump's special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, is now recruiting interpreters from the US State Department. This is reported by the newspaper Politico, citing an official representative of the administration.

It is noted that the decision was made after the publication of an investigation, which claimed that Witkoff allegedly violated the security protocol by using the services of Russian translators during meetings in Russia.

"After he was criticized for using the services of an interpreter [of Russian President Vladimir] Putin is in Russia, and Witkoff now uses the services of an interpreter from the State Department during official meetings," the publication says.
