The high-alert regime was extended in Vladivostok due to bad weather
In Vladivostok, due to bad weather, the high-alert regime has been extended. This decision was made by the city Commission for the prevention and elimination of emergency situations and fire safety.
The regime was introduced on August 25 due to heavy rains. City services have switched to an enhanced mode of operation. The operational headquarters took over the coordination of the actions of the emergency teams.
According to the PrimaMedia news agency, the high alert mode will be in effect until the morning of September 1. Motorists are asked, if possible, not to use private transport and not to leave cars in places of possible flooding. In addition, it is not recommended to go out to sea on sapboards, as gale force winds and waves make it difficult to control the boat.
In St. Petersburg, forecasters predicted the cessation of rains. Light precipitation is possible on August 29.
