VK talked about the company's special projects for Knowledge Day

VK is launching a number of special projects for Knowledge Day, including an IT show, a themed channel, greetings from the stars and educational videos. This was announced on August 29 by the company's press service.

"Famous bloggers and artists will attend the solemn lineups in six schools in Moscow, the Republics of Altai, Mari El and Tatarstan, as well as the Vladimir region. Tatiana Kurtukova, Milana Nekrasova, RASA and other celebrities will congratulate students on Knowledge Day and announce the start of the school year," the message says.

VK Education and the messenger MAX will also host the educational IT show VK Education Talks on the basis of one of the Russian universities, which will be selected by voting in the national messenger.

An educational project "Watch and Learn" will be launched in VK Video, in which educational videos can be found using the hashtag.

In addition, VK is launching a charity event "Let's pack a backpack together." Until August 31, you can pay for gifts for schoolchildren on the project's website: uniforms, notebooks, creative kits, and specialist services.

During a joint meeting with members of the Russian government on August 27, Russian President Vladimir Putin assessed the readiness of schools for the start of the school year. Education Minister Sergei Kravtsov added that 43 new schools will be opened on Knowledge Day. Also, 670 schools, 41 kindergartens and 22 colleges will reopen after major repairs.
