One person was killed when two ships collided on the Sylva River in the Perm Region.

In the Perm Region, two small vessels collided on the Sylva River, resulting in one death. This was announced on August 29 by the central Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"Two small vessels collided, as a result of which one skipper was killed, and the vessel under his control sank," the Telegram channel says.

Currently, all the circumstances of the incident are being established, and an inspection is being carried out under Part 2 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Violation of traffic safety and operation rules for inland waterway transport").

Earlier that day, a boat sank in St. Petersburg, as a result of which three injured passengers were hospitalized. It was noted that in the waters of the Malaya Nevka River near the Lazarevsky Bridge, a small Bottlenose Dolphin-type vessel piled onto a log, as a result of which it was partially flooded.
