BAIC revealed the price of the BJ60 frame SUV in Russia

The BAIC BJ60 frame SUV will cost from 5.3 million rubles in Russia. This follows from the price list published on the brand's official website. The Kaliningrad Avtotor plant announced the start of production of the BJ60 back in January of this year. Despite the fact that the production of cars was launched more than six months ago, the timing of the start of sales is still not disclosed.

The BAIC BJ60 specification for Russia is equipped with a two-liter diesel engine with a capacity of 163 hp (400 Nm), which is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The power plant of the SUV is implemented using the "soft hybrid" technology: an electric motor with a capacity of 14 hp performs the function of a starter that facilitates the operation of the internal combustion engine.

The length of the model is 5040 mm with a wheelbase of 2820 mm. All-wheel drive is implemented according to the Part-Time principle, a downshift is provided, as well as additional locking of the front and rear inter-wheel differentials.

The list of equipment includes diode optics, 18-inch wheels, a panoramic roof with electric drive, a 10-inch dashboard with a 13-inch central display, wireless charging for a smartphone, three-zone climate control, 12 audio speakers. An all-round viewing system, heated windshield, electric adjustment of the front seats, heated all seats and a set of assistants, including adaptive cruise control and blind spot monitoring system.

The day before, Exeed announced the appearance on the Russian market of the third model in the Exlantix line after the hybrid crossover ET and sedan ES. The flagship Exlantix E02 SUV will make its debut in Russia in 2026.

Also on August 28, Hongqi announced that the new HS7 full-size crossover will be presented in Russia in two trim levels priced from 4.79 million and 4.99 million rubles, respectively.
