Armenian Consul in Austria Ashken Aleksanyan was detained at Yerevan airport on suspicion of spying for Azerbaijan. This was reported on August 19 by the Hraparak portal, citing sources.

"Aleksanyan was detained at the airport while returning to Yerevan. She was found to have documents that raised suspicions of espionage in favor of Azerbaijan," the publication says.
