On September 1, the Central Bank of Russia will issue commemorative coins made of copper-nickel alloy of the Russian Sport series, dedicated to sports clubs, with a face value of 25 rubles. This was announced on August 29 by the press service of the regulator on the official website.

"Copper-nickel alloy coins with a face value of 25 rubles have the shape of a circle with a diameter of 27.0 mm. There is a protruding edge around the circumference on the obverse and reverse sides of the coins. The side surface of the coins is fluted," the message says.

So, coins of the Russian Sport series will be put into circulation: Dynamo, CSKA, Lokomotiv, Spartak, and Labor Reserves. On their front side there will be a relief image of the State Coat of Arms of the Russian Federation, above it the inscription in a semicircle "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", on the right — the trademark of the mint, under the coat of arms the inscription "BANK OF RUSSIA", the face value of the coins "25 RUBLES", the date "2025".

It is specified that the circulation of coins will be 50 thousand pieces each. At the same time, they will be a legal means of cash payment in the territory of the Russian Federation and must be accepted at face value for all types of payments without restrictions.

On August 22, the Central Bank of Russia announced the issuance of a commemorative silver coin with a face value of 3 rubles, dedicated to the X Eastern Economic Forum (WEF). It is made of 925 sterling silver, weighs 31.1 g, has a diameter of 39 mm and has a round shape with a protruding edge around the circumference.
