Moving from an apartment to a country house in a well—maintained village is a step towards more space, privacy and comfort. Along with the benefits of a new lifestyle come the challenges that you should prepare for in advance. Mikhail Ermakov, the manager of Papushevo Park's care service, shared recommendations in an interview with Izvestia on August 30 that will help make the move organized and calm.Once in a new home, it is important to have everything you need at hand to feel comfortable from the very first hours.

Several boxes or suitcases with basic necessities should be allocated in advance, from bed linen and towels to basic dishes, seasonal clothing and household chemicals. Place these items in accessible places so that you don't have to open dozens of boxes on the day of the move in search of familiar little things. This approach will allow you to focus on the gradual arrangement, rather than on the urgent unpacking of all the contents.

"Even if the house is fully ready to move in, it is useful to make sure that all key systems are working smoothly. If you are planning the arrival of carriers, furniture assemblers or other specialists, specify in advance the order of entry and admission to the village. This will eliminate unnecessary delays and ensure uninterrupted access on the day of the move," the specialist advised.

After the apartment, the presence of a large house can create the feeling that there is enough space for everything, but chaos is also possible here. To avoid this, it is worth considering in advance where the things that you will use on a daily basis will be located: documents, chargers, sports equipment, accessories for recreation on the site. By defining the storage areas in advance, you will quickly restore order and save yourself from constantly searching for the right items.

Even in a premium village, it is useful to clarify all issues related to household and urban services in advance. Save the contacts of the management company, delivery services, the nearest pharmacies and medical institutions. Check how the Internet service providers work and what additional services can be connected. Such preparation will help to avoid situations when the necessary help or goods will be unavailable at the right time.

"In the first days after moving, things that are often forgotten are especially appreciated. These can be extension cords, portable lights, a supply of drinking water, a basic set of tools, and a first-aid kit. Place them in easily accessible places so that you don't waste time searching if necessary. Such a minimal set will allow you to feel confident before fully unpacking your belongings and setting up your usual routine," Ermakov explained.

Even with a fully finished house, the first days will be different from the usual urban life. The new scale of the space, the silence and the special rhythm of the village take time to get used to. To make the adaptation process comfortable, it is worth taking a walk around the territory in advance, exploring the location of recreation areas, sports grounds, and walking routes. This will help you integrate into a new lifestyle faster and experience all the benefits of moving.

Earlier, on May 16, it was reported that one in five Russians would like to put up a cottage for sale in order to buy an apartment in the capital. At the same time, one in three (33%) estimates their suburban real estate in the amount of 6 million to 10 million rubles, according to the results of a study by Level Group.
