Liksutov spoke about the popularity of audio tours on river routes
About 70 thousand people listened to audio tours during trips on regular river electric transport in Moscow. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"This format is in demand among passengers: audio accompaniment is available from 2023 on the Kievsky — Fili Park and ZIL — Pechatniki routes," Liksutov said. The deputy mayor said that the opportunity to listen to audio tours appeared on the new, third route "Novospassky — ZIL". He stressed that the Moscow authorities continue to develop regular river electric transport on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.
Passengers of the Novospassky — ZIL route will be able to learn more about the historical sites of the capital from the Novospassky Monastery to the Zilart residential complex using an audio guide. The audience will be told about the oldest monasteries along the route of the river tram, the stadium where the best Soviet football players trained. Passengers will also be able to find out where the pond from the story "Poor Lisa" is located, who produces the first domestic limousines, where the pavilion of the Southern River Station once stood, and much more.
In the audio tour of the first route "Kievsky — Fili Park", passengers are told about why the Karamyshev straightening was required and what used to be in place of Moscow City. On the ZIL — Pechatniki route, students will learn how the Moskva River became a river highway and why the Nagatinsky river straightening was needed.
