In Ingushetia, police and security agencies have discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition. This was reported on August 29 in the "Ministry of Internal Affairs Media".

"As part of the operational and preventive measure "Weapons", law enforcement officers discovered a cache of weapons and ammunition in a forest area on the outskirts of the village of Arshty," the Telegram channel wrote.

It is noted that among the weapons found were grenade launchers, a flamethrower, mines, a PSM pistol, a grenade, as well as cartridges. According to MIA Media, the cache belonged to a former leader of an illegal armed group, who was liquidated in 2020. A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 222 and Part 1 of Article 222.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

A cache of weapons was discovered in the St. Petersburg Sputnik Hotel on June 24 during repair work. According to a source in Izvestia, the hotel previously belonged to the criminal boss Boris Ivanov (also known as Bob the Collector), who was killed in 1999. A criminal case has been opened into the discovery of weapons.
