Three people were injured in the sinking of a boat in St. Petersburg.
A boat sank in St. Petersburg, as a result of which three injured passengers were hospitalized. This was announced on August 29 by the North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office.
It is specified that in the water area of the Malaya Nevka River near the Lazarevsky Bridge, a small Bottlenose Dolphin-type vessel piled onto a log, as a result of which it was partially flooded.
At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being established.
"The St. Petersburg Transport Prosecutor's Office is checking the implementation of legislation on safety in the operation of water transport," follows from a publication in the Telegram channel.
Earlier, on August 21, the Edward boat caught fire on the Fontanka River in St. Petersburg. It was clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the fire. The department reported that the fire was later eliminated.
