Russian tennis player Roman Safiullin lost to Canadian Felix Auger-Alliassim in the second round of the US Open, thus failing to advance to the third round. The meeting took place on August 28 in New York and ended with a score 6:1, 7:6 (7:4), 7:6 (7:5).
