The State Duma announced changes in the labor legislation of the Russian Federation from September 1.

Russians expect a number of changes in labor legislation, which will come into force on September 1, 2025 — teenagers from the age of 14 can work weekends during the summer holidays, and the salary, in case of loss of the bonus, will not be able to decrease by more than 20%. This was announced on August 29 by Ekaterina Stenyakina, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor and Social Policy.

"I was among the co—authors of this law, which allows teenagers from the age of 14 to work on weekends during the summer holidays in the direction of the employment service or as part of a student group," she told RIA Novosti.
