Air defense systems repelled a UAV attack in the Rostov region

Air defense systems eliminated unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), who tried to attack the Rostov region. This was announced on July 29 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar.

"Our air defense forces repelled an enemy air attack in the north of the Rostov region, destroying UAVs in the Chertkovsky district," reads a post on his Telegram channel.

Slyusar clarified that according to preliminary data, there were no damage or injuries as a result of the attack.

The official added that due to the falling debris of the downed drone, a grass fire occurred, which was quickly eliminated.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of 19 Ukrainian drones in three hours. 10 UAVs were eliminated in the period from 21:00 Moscow time on August 28 to midnight on August 29 in the sky over the Bryansk region, four more over the Rostov region, and two more over the territory of the Tula region. In addition, one drone was shot down over the territory of the Orel and Kursk regions and over the Republic of Crimea.
