The common weak point of the European armies is the fragmented military-industrial complex (MIC). This was stated by military expert Vladimir Prokhvatilov on Thursday, August 28.

According to Prokhvatilov, now everyone has little money, so they will squeeze the social sphere.

"But the main problem is the fragmented military—industrial complex. Almost every country has its own type of tanks and other weapons. And they don't want to unite it, because everyone is pulling the blanket over themselves. But it is impossible to wage a modern high—intensity war with such weapons," he said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru .

The military expert explained that it is impossible to create a single functional army with a disparate military-industrial complex.

"From a financial point of view, Germany probably has the most prosperous military-industrial complex. And the French have the most advanced one. They are very little inferior to the Americans, they have a full cycle of military production in almost all areas," said Prokhvatilov.

He added that Italy and Spain have traditionally developed naval forces, while Poland does not have its own military-industrial complex.
