The White House admits that the parties are not ready to end the conflict in Ukraine

The United States authorities admit that at this stage the parties to the conflict in Ukraine are not ready for its conclusion, and therefore US President Donald Trump intends to make additional statements on the situation later. This was announced on August 28 by White House press Secretary Carolyn Leavitt.
"Perhaps both sides of this conflict are not ready to end it. The president [of the United States] wants it to stop. <...> I think the president will make some additional statements about this later," Leavitt said at a briefing.
