Actor Soslan Fidarov spoke about the features of an ideal movie about a special operation

Actor, adviser to the head of the Republic of North Ossetia — Alania Soslan Fidarov, who has been fighting in Donbass since 2014 as part of the Pyatnashka volunteer international brigade, told in the new issue of the Izvestia podcast what an ideal movie dedicated to a special operation should be. According to him, such a movie requires maximum sincerity and dedication from the authors.

"It's such a delicate matter not to play with this topic, not to speculate, not to put pressure on pity. If you've already come to the point where you're shooting a story that everyone knows, that everyone is worried about, then you have to do it for real, living it," the actor is sure.

Fidarov said he plans to make a film about his family, where the main characters will be "ordinary Russian guys."

"About the simple guys who abandoned their machines, came to defend their country and then will return to their machines again. These are the real heroes, Rambo, not the ones we were shown as children. And there are many of them. There are truly Russian guys: Abkhazians, Ossetians, Russians, Ukrainians," he believes.

He expressed the opinion that Soviet cinema about the war is still interesting to the viewer, largely because the directors and actors were real veterans who did not play, but lived in the frame.
