Slovakia has resumed issuing tourist visas to Russians
The Slovak Consulate in the Russian Federation will consider applications from Russian citizens for tourist visas. This was announced on August 28 on the website of the BLS International Visa Application Center.
"Slovakia in Russia is now accepting visa applications for tourism purposes," the message on the main page says.
Earlier, on August 20, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister and Minister of Emigrants of Jordan Ayman Safadi signed an agreement on the mutual abolition of visas for tourists. It was noted that the document provides for exemption from visa requirements for travel for a period of no more than 30 days. The total duration of such stay should not exceed 90 days during the year.
