The mayor of Samara denied reports of an evacuation in one of the city's districts.

Reports that an evacuation is underway in one of the districts of Samara are not reliable, they are deliberately published to spread panic. This was announced on August 28 by the mayor of Samara, Ivan Noskov, noting that false information was allegedly distributed on his behalf.

"On my behalf, messages about the evacuation of one of the districts of the city are being sent to public sites and channels in Samara. This information is not true. This is a fake that is being spread by enemies to sow panic," Noskov wrote on his Telegram channel.
