In the Rostov region, for the first time, two residents were fined for filming and publishing the consequences of attacks by Ukrainian drones (UAVs). This was announced on August 28 by the acting governor of the region, Yuri Slyusar, during a press conference.

"Unfortunately, there are two violators, whom we have already fixed. Of course, there are more of them. But those who were caught were two people, they were issued protocols for committing an administrative offense with appropriate fines," TASS quoted him as saying.

The head of the region added that the publication of the consequences of the UAV strike gives the enemy valuable intelligence information. It may also lead to repeated drone strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).

Slyusar stressed that the authorities are forced to impose penalties on violators. According to him, the regional authorities are also carrying out the prevention of such offenses.

On August 11, the government of the Rostov region imposed fines for photographing and videotaping attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles. It was clarified that fines are provided for filming and distributing such footage: for citizens — from 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles, and for legal entities — from 200 thousand to 400 thousand rubles.
